Ackerman-Estvold Welcomes Walter Markle as Civil Engineer

Minot, N.D. – Walter Markle has joined the Ackerman-Estvold Minot office as a full-time Civil Engineer. Markle recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the south Dakota School of Mines, Rapid City, SD. He has worked in the Minot office as a seasonal intern for the last three summers, gaining experience in construction engineering and jobsite inspection. Walter will be working with the construction engineering group providing assistance to projects during the summer season, completing some cross training in multiple civil disciplines, and then will focus on design for municipalities in communities throughout the region.

Ackerman-Estvold Welcomes Gavin Blaisdell as Civil Engineer

Minot, N.D. – Gavin Blaisdell has joined the Ackerman-Estvold Boise, ID office as a Civil Engineer. Blaisdell graduated from Boise State University in Boisie, Idaho where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2023. Gavin has experience in transportation design and environmental research. He will focus on transportation projects and land development, serving clients throughout the region in our Idaho location.

Ackerman-Estvold Promotes Melissa Rowe to Business Administrative Assistant

Minot, N.D. – Melissa Rowe has been promoted to Business Administrative Assistant, working from our Minot office. Rowe grew up in South Dakota and graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Graphic Design. Melissa joined the Ackerman-Estvold team in August of 2021 as the receptionist. Her new responsibilities will be an expanded role on the communications & marketing team, working on content and design for projects, handling some financial processing, and providing support to the whole organization on a variety of special projects.
