Minot, N.D. - Ackerman-Estvold is pleased to announce our newest office location in Idaho. The addition of the Boise branch located at 7661 West Riverside Drive in Garden City becomes the third location for the company.

Steven Eberle, Vice President/COO indicated “the Ackerman-Estvold team is excited to expand our services into Idaho. Boise provides us with a great opportunity to implement elements of our strategic plan by investing in new markets and geographical locations. We look forward to serving the civil engineering needs of the Treasure Valley.”

Antonio Conti, PE, PLS, has rejoined the organization to manage the Idaho location. Mr. Conti previously served as a Senior Civil Engineer out of the Minot, ND location from 2015 – 2017, and has been working within the engineering/surveying industry in Idaho since that time. Mr. Conti earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from II University of Rome, Rome, Italy, and has over 20 years of civil engineering and land surveying experience.

The new Ackerman-Estvold team encompasses more than 50 professionals within the Minot, Williston, and Boise offices. Services include municipal engineering, land planning and development, traffic and transportation engineering, water resources, construction engineering, architecture, cultural resources, environmental services, GIS, and drone technology. “We are thrilled about the addition of the Boise location and as a midwestern organization, it is a priority for us to have a vested interest in the communities in which we are located” said Eberle.

Minot, N.D. – Cameon Eisenzimmer, RPA, recently earned a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.

With this certification, Ms. Eisenzimmer has met the qualifications to serve as a principal investigator in the areas of Archaeology, Architectural Historian, and History throughout the United States. Her course work specialized in the categories of Preservation Law, Architectural History, Historic Preservation Planning, Field Methods in Historic Preservation, and Public History. Ackerman-Estvold has also secured a cultural resources permit to conduct investigations in Archaeology, Architectural History, and History, as a result of Ms Eisenzimmer’s new certification.

Ms. Eisenzimmer has been a team member at Ackerman-Estvold since 2013 and currently serves as Cultural Resource Manager / Registered Professional Archaeologist / GIS Analyst. Her roles include the oversight of the cultural resources group conducting cultural and environmental studies, and she also assists the GIS group in the development of systems. Ms. Eisenzimmer has a BA in Anthropology / Archaeology / Geoscience from Minnesota State University – Moorhead, MA in Anthropology / Biological Anthropology from Wichita State University, and AAS in Architectural Drafting and Estimating Technology from the North Dakota State College of Science.

Minot, N.D. – Ackerman-Estvold is pleased to announce that Patrick Samson recently earned his Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification from the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).

The CFM certification is a national program which started in 1999 and is overseen by the ASFPM. CFM’s serve as trusted local advisors who promote safe floodplain development, assist communities with the National Flood Insurance Program requirements, reduce community liability through mitigation, and aid in public outreach and understanding of FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps.

Mr. Samson currently serves as a Vice President of Ackerman-Estvold and leads the municipal group. He is a registered Professional Engineer with over 17 years of experience in the industry. Samson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND.
