In anticipation of re-development of the former Midwest Federal Building in downtown Minot our environmental team assisted with asbestos inspection. As part of the building renovation, this inspection of the eight+ story structure supplemented previous inspection reports and aided in completing an Asbestos Abatement Project Design for the site.  The abatement project (which included select demolition) was put out for public bid and was awarded to Environmental Plant Services for a total cost of $2.6 million.  The abatement project is complete, allowing any further development to proceed.
