St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church is a long-standing historic landmark of Minot. Through over a century of serving our community, the facility was in need of structural enhancements and interior refinement. Through a multi-phase process the basement of the structure endured a $1.8 million remodel - replacing an old wood-framed basement floor, replacing columns and beams, and adding supports to existing structural framework. New restrooms were added, the previous kitchen was completely refurbished, and new confessionals were added at the back of the nave. This laid the ground work for liturgical artists to re-establish the beauty and art of the nave and sanctuary reminiscent of the original artwork.
