The Ackerman-Estvold team has participated in the design and construction of three phases of the McKenzie County Highway 16 reconstruction project.

Phase II included the removal of the existing pavement, installation of a new 18 inch aggregate base, placement of 7 inches of new hot bituminous pavement, signage, pavement markings, and drainage. This phase was 10.01 miles with a project cost of $11.9 million.

Phase III of the McKenzie County Highway 16 reconstruction project consisted of the removal of the existing pavement, installation of a new 18 inch aggregate base, placement of 7 inches of new hot bituminous pavement, signage, pavement markings, and drainage. This phase was 6.69 miles with a project cost of $8.3 million.

Phase IV included a 2 inch hot bituminous overlay and drainage. This phase was 2.90 miles and had a project cost of $1.1 million.
