MY 'WHY'
This project was truly fun in every sense; we had a wonderful client who was eager to make changes and trusted us with their overall vision which provided the opportunity to be creative.
I believe the most rewarding thing for me was seeing the drastic changes in the before and after pictures. My go-to phrase is “I love a good before and after” and this might be one of the most dramatic changes I’ve been a part of from start to finish. A personal bonus, petting some cute dogs during site visits!

Remodel and Addition
BRIEF
The existing facility was truly in major disrepair and in extreme need of updating, more space, maintenance, better air quality, and modifications to the floor plan make it work in today’s shelter environment. Our solution was to add an addition of approximately 3,860 sq ft, gut the existing facility that was in dire need of repair, and completely rework the floor plan which would streamline their processes and make it more practical for their day-to-day operations. All of this was made a bit more challenging, as we were working within the existing lot, which was quite small and very narrow and long.
