BILLINGSLEY CREEK MASTERPLAN & CONSTRUCTION
Ackerman-Estvold was selected as part of the team to finalize the current masterplan and provide construction documents and specifications for the newly acquired Billingsley Creek State Park in Hagerman, Idaho. The park is approximately 170 acres and will include, at its final completion, a visitor center, arboretum, amphitheater, community center, RV campground, hiking trails, indoor and outdoor horse arena, paddling access to the creek and communal space. The overall project is slated to be phased over multiple years. The first few phases include a visitor center, a 1.4-mile entrance road, 50 unit RV campground with sewer, water and electric to all sites, a 20-acre arboretum, ~½ mile 10’ wide asphalt surface trails and additional natural surface trails, and fishing/paddling access along Billingsley Creek.
The first phase includes portions of the 1.5-mile entrance road and the visitor center. This phase is scheduled for construction during the summer of 2020. The second phase includes portions of the arboretum, paddling access to the creek and extension of the access road to the proposed campground. This phase is scheduled for construction in the summer of 2020. The last phase includes the RV campground. The campground is scheduled for construction in the Spring of 2021.
